We're coming up at thanksgiving and debating bringing our travel car seat with us. DS has always sat in it on the plane, but it seems like a bit much now that he is 3...I'm undecided. He's still rear facing though, so I don't love the Uber seats and was wondering if we had other options. They only have one seat and it needs to be installed at the time they pickup (at least that’s been my experience). Our 2 year old used the forward facing seats that Uber provides, but all the drivers only had 1 seat per vehicle. Kids are only allowed in Yellow cabs without a car seat within manhattan. So even if you were ok with it, a Yellow cab won’t take to and from airport without a car seat. </p> <p>Legends Limousine is the way to go 👌🏼<br /> When you book you tell them what kind of seat you need and RF/FF and it’s installed already when they pick up. It’s $10 extra per seat but so so worth it.<br /> ETA: you can book it all online too. In February we are flying to NYC to meet up with family and we'll be flying into LGA and staying in midtown. I used to live in the city but never had my kids there so I'm a novice. What's the best way to get into the city with the kids? Uber Family? I'm not planning on bringing car seats on the plane with us (it would just be too much to handle our luggage, two kids, a double stroller, and two car seats). I know technically the kids are allowed in cabs without car seats but I'd really prefer to avoid that option. </p>
