We don't have too many toys yet, she's only 6 months. I have a toy box that I bought in college with Peter Rabbit on it with the hopes that I'd have a LO some day. All her toys that are too old for her are in there. I put the toys that she uses now in a little basket in her closet.

I don't do much, in the living room I toss everything in a laundry basket, lol.

In his bedroom, I have some low shelves with mesh bins, but I am pretty loose about what goes in each one. I don't care if the animals are mixed up with the felt food. I also have some small tote baskets that we use for dulpos and manipulative toys, but again, if they get mixed up I try not to stress about it.

We have most of her toys in the living room and store them in the following areas:

- We cleared out one of our media cabinets to store her books and puzzles. Also solves the issue of her wanting to open all the cabinets since she has one that CAN open.
- We store her soft toys (plush, balls, etc) in our storage ottoman (she likes to climb in so no hard toys allowed)
- Other toys/nicknacks are kept in a long 4 cube bench similar to the one @Mrsbrewer posted.

When everything is put away after LO goes to sleep, the living room looks pretty much kid-free, except for the megablocks dumptruck and her wheeley bug that's sitting in the corner :)

We have the same as others were talking about for DD with pink and teal boxes that go in the cube holes. We TRY to keep it organized, but DD is 8 and her idea of cleaning her room is SHOVE things into wherever so its not on the floor! LOL

I have a 2x4 square shelf so eight squares. I bought this fabric zip cubes to go on the bottom shelf for toys little toys and put a photo on the outside so the kids know what to put back in the box. All balls in one, all moving toys like cars go in another, small stuff animals and so on. The top row of 4 cubes I use as open shelves for puzzles, and bigger toys.

I have a clear plastic bin that I throw everything in. :P I wish I was better about organizing, but it works.

We bought a shelf similar to what @mrsbrewer linked. It has 12 cubes, and we bought 6 of the bins. Right now we're using them to store clothes sorted out by age/size, and when LO gets bigger I'm hoping to use that to store toys.

I don't have kids, so really no toys to store, but I LOVE the storage containers that Target sells, and I currently have one now. You can either put stuff just right on the shelf, or you can buy different colored bins to put stuff into. They are really inexpensive, and I think they're really fun actually with all the different colored bins you can get! :-) It would definitely go with any room theme.

I was planning to use the rubber bins you mentioned. I think they are great and multifunctional and easy to stack...

I'm wondering what you use to store your infant/toddler's toys? I'm not a big fan of rubber bins but I do like how you can label them easily and see through them. I'd love to hear the different options for toy storage!
