<description>&#60;p&#62;Such good insight in this book. Written by a mother who was raised in India, lived in America and raised her kids/taught in Singapore. She picks apart values of east and west parenting philosophies, meets in the middle and includes a lot of great suggestions for building math, critical thinking and language in daily life. The author explains the impact of filial piety, the east's obsession with math at an early age and the west's infatuation with reading. Just wanted to throw it out there for those who have read it or looking for a good read.
