So, I guess I have no limits. I wear enough layers (cardi, shirt, tank, scarf, etc) that I am confident I don't flash anyone. I think it helps that a tend to wear shirts of the drapier variety so i can arrange it to cover any exposed flesh. If LO would stay latched on, I don't think I would have an issue with feeding him uncovered in public, but he tends to unlatch, look up at me, grin, then relatch toward the end of his sessions. And never w/out a cover! Both times was with just DH or BFF. I still go to the car or a nursing room if possible. Part of my inhibition is that I have a forceful letdown and milk goes spewing everywhere, baby chokes, and I have to pat her back, etc. I usually need a burp cloth to letdown while holding a fussy, hungry baby. All that maneuvering is hard with a cover! There's a section of the eatery that is walled in by see-through glass, and that section is where the bathrooms are.</p> <p>There was a mother there, breastfeeding uncovered, whose LO kept popping off (distracted, I guess?), and there was a crowd of South Asian men at the glass window just watching. It was super disturbing. I mean, they weren't watching in a, "oh, how sweet that mom is feeding her baby" way.</p> <p>Anyway, I at least learned not to choose a glass window to feed next to, if I'm going to go uncovered.</p> <p>Edited to say: she wasn't using a two-shirt method or nursing shirt either. She had pulled her top up, almost over one side...so there was a lot of bare skin. I've only used a real cover once and hated it, so I usually bring an A&amp;A blanket with me and wear it like a scarf to cover anything I don't want showing. I had no problem whipping them out on the plane last week, it preserved everyone's sanity since it got him to sleep.
