For a while I would work out right after DH got home at 6:45/7 and before I had to put LO down for the night at 7:30. But we have a treadmill at the house so it made it easy to get in a quick workout. Now DH is working longer hours so I just don't work out, although LO and I go for walks some days after work and I just bought a jogging stroller so we can do runs some of the time.

ugh, L is 3 months old and I'm just starting to get around to thinking about working out again. I didn't even think about first thing in the morning not working b/c of teh boobs!

I guess I will have to do it after he goes to sleep, around 8 pm...

LO is STTN and generally wakes after 8am, when I'm already at the office. I have to pump in the morning anyway, so I'm thinking I'll start getting up earlier to pump and then go for a run. I'm nursing twice a day - once when I get home from work, and once before bed. I pump three times at work. Sigh. So tired of pumping already.

I have still not figured out how to juggle these three things and LO is now 16 months! Good luck!

like you, working full time, it was nearly impossible for me to hit the gym during the work week while breastfeeding and pumping. I would have either had to wake up super early to pump or nurse and get everything ready for the day or I would've had to have given up some time with DS after work (and probably would've had to add an extra nurse or pump in there, too).
I found that 20/30 minute workout videos after DS went to bed was the best that I could do during that time.

Perhaps, giving a look into the future: when DS gave up the boob at 11 months, he was also consistently sleeping through the night. He is almost always in bed by 7:30/8 and I know that anytime after that is me time :)

I didn't. Seriously my program wasn't offered late enough and I could get the schedule to work. Now I'm back working out usually after bedtime.

I'm just starting to attempt this. I'm trying 5:30. I'm usually not that full though because J is nursing at either 2:30 or 4:30am (or both). Maybe you could pump or manually express a little before working out in the am? Then wear a good bra and pads? I got a sports bra at Kohls that was $50 but works great.

The latest workout classes at my gym at 730 (my preferred workout of choice) so maybe I will plan to attend 1 or 2 of those during the work week.

My problem is that I have to hop back online after I put DS to bed so working out in the evening isn't an option either. I want to start taking a hot yoga class on the weekends plus go on more walks on the weekends now that its sort of starting to get warmer.

I work out at night after LO is in bed. Usually right after our last nursing session, around 8pm. If I run errands or cook dinner, etc. then I do all that and then work out late at like 10pm.

When do you exercise while BFing? I am finally thinking about possibly working out again someday in the near future, and am having trouble figuring out when a good time is.

I'm a WOHM so I only get to nurse her 2x a day, morning and before bed.

I could maybe hit up some of the 5:30 AM workout classes at the gym, but LO STTN and my boobs would be totally full if I go to workout before she wakes up in the morning. And if I pump before I leave, then we'd only be nursing 1x a day? That is depressing.

We get home from work/daycare around 630 PM. I guess I could nurse her right then and workout after that? But on those days I suppose DH would be on baby duty and I wouldn't get to spend much time with her before she goes to bed.

What do you do?
