Honestly, not much. Up water, take prenatal, no alcohol/smoking. Cut back on caffiene but you don't need to completely eliminate it. And baths are totally fine! Congrats!

Congratulations!!! I wish I would have done a serious grocery shopping trip, deep cleaned the house, and made freezer meals before or as soon as I got my BFP. I say this because I had awful morning sickness and besides work...laid around for weeks!

Besides, if you prepare, you'll escape morning sickness

Congrats mama!!

Congrats!

Besides obsessively surfing the Internet for cute baby outfits or discussing names? Water intake is very important and you already are doing that, and the prenatal vitamin. I tried to up my vitamin E intake in my food too.

If you struggle with morning sickness a good trick is to have DH bring you ginger ale and saltines first thing before getting out of bed. That was the best advice I got from my sister and it worked great for me the first trimester.

Alcohol & coffee were the only things I was careful about. I think people overreact about sushi, coldcuts, over-easy eggs, unripened cheeses. I still eat these while pregnant. DD came out fine and my current pregnancy is equally on track.

Congratulations! Watch your caffeine, switch to prenatal, microwave lunch meat and other chilled prepackaged meats, avoid alcohol, wash veggies well and make sure your baths aren't too hot. I take long, long baths and just keep the temp reasonable. If you have to ease your body in, it's too hot. Maybe take sex a little easier as the cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy and you might spot. It won't hurt the baby but might freak you and your SO out. A lot of these are debatable but just general "dos and don'ts."

Congrats! That early I don't really think you can do anything to it.. Just don't do anything you normally don't do  Try to just relax and enjoy your meals in case you start to not feel well soon!

You can take a bath as long as it's not too hot and you're not in that said super hot water for way too long.

Congratulations!

I would check caffeine intake, check any meds (tylenol is ok, not advil), just basic stuff like that! Enjoy!

I confirmed my pregnancy today with digital pregnancy test. I will see my doctor in a few weeks but what should I know before then? I'm upping my water intake and trying to eat what I can stomach. I take a muti vitamin but I'm planning to switch to a prenatal. I usually take baths every night, should I stop that? Any other do's or don'ts I should be aware of?
