With it snapped down I felt it was pinching her chunky thighs. Neither causes leaks so I think a lot of it is preference. He's 14m old, but 28lbs. That being said, he's also almost 3' tall (so, tall and thin). DD is about 24lbs and it looks like it's time to open them up!
