@mrs.kiwi: I wish I remembered. I just recall having BH any time I did anything for my entire pregnancy. They were annoying. But also clearly BH, not actual contractions.

@mrsbubbletea: thank you 💕

@MrsSRS: thanks for responding. After googling a bit I’m wondering if that’s what I have too. May I ask for more details? When did you start having contractions? How intense/constant were they? I was doing way more than 4-6 an hour (which is when most people say you should call your ob)- more like constant contractions for 4-5 hours.

I have an "irritable uterus" so just BHed all the time. The things that I found helped the most were gatorade and sitting with my feet elevated.

@Mama Bird: thanks.. I am trying to rest as much as possible. You’re right about the stress- my husband and I are guessing this might be at least partly stress induced (due to the state of the world right now and people around us) and last night as I got increasingly anxious they were also getting worse.

I had BH contractions start very early with my second and third pregnancies - around 9-14 weeks. Especially my second pregnancy, they would start if I picked up anything slightly heavy, and after I did a lot of walking one day,I even started spotting. LO was fine though. I was a nervous wreck through the whole pregnancy.

I'm sure you're really stressed right now and that's not helping. If you can, lie down for as long as you need to, and make your SO look after the older kids.

@bees_knees: @bhbee: thanks ladies. I was worried last night because they were just constant contractions, not painful to me but definitely noticeable, for hours and hours. This morning it seems better, still getting them but not as constant. I’m worried about losing the baby but also worried my ob might order bed rest or something this whole pregnancy- I have 6 months to go!

@mrs.kiwi: I had BH waaaay earlier with pregnancies 3 & 4. I can’t remember when they started, but I know I was feeling them at 14 weeks. They weren’t timeable or intense (like “real” contractions) Hugs, deep breaths :heart: Hope your OB gets back to you soon, too.

Hi everyone,

I’m 14.5 weeks pregnant and I am feeling Braxton Hicks contractions already. Today especially they are kind of constant. They did go away earlier with lots of water, rest, but they’re back and not going away even though I’ve been resting and drinking. I emailed my ob but am reaching out here to see if anyone has any experiences.

I’m worried about going into labor already and losing the baby.
