My SIL bought our DD a ball pit for her last birthday and it's a hit. She bought an inflatable pool and a huge package of plastic balls from Amazon. We already had a slide, and DD loves sliding into the ball pit.

We bought a big indoor trampoline for our playroom and it is awesome! Our LO is almost 3 and he has loved it the past year, and it's a big hit with other kids that visit.

We are moving into a house with a big basement with high ceilings a few weeks before Christmas. I'm thinking that as relatives ask what the girls want for Christmas, I might steer people towards large/active play items for the basement. But I'm not sure what to request - swings of some sort? Gymnastics mat? Balance beAm? Stuff to make a ball pit? Roller skates?Something else entirely? Messy play?
We have scooters, a tricycle, and a cozy coupe. Basement is BIG with 12 ft ceilings, so opinions are open!! We won't know anyone in the neighborhood and DD1's school schedule will be significantly reduced (non-existintant at first) so I want to make our house fun!
