I'm pretty sure my LO (who was exactly 3 at the time) would be able to figure out that the new baby can't actually get her anything, so it wasn't really from him. Plus, I didn't feel like he needed to buy her something to make her like him/be excited about him. This isn't really a trend that I understand. And I say that as some who loves giving and receiving presents. The nurses even swaddled it and put it in a bassinet just like her baby sister. He was too young for it, but he had been obsessed with them and we wanted something he and DH could play with together and outside:).<br /> The hospital gave him a little stuffed bear wearing a Big Brother t-shirt and he still sleeps with it. Loved it, and he's not big into stuffed animals.
