I totally get feeling you have to extend your guest list, but just invite only people you want to be around.

I say have a big party if you want one, and don't worry about offending that girl! I wouldn't invite her if you don't like her.

DD will be turning 1 (time sure flies) in two months and I'm planning for her party. I originally wanted it to be a small party with just family, but since I plan on spending money on decorations, I figure why not invite more people and have a real party.

But I'm still undecided, mainly because I only really want to invite 1 friend and her family (2 kids). I know her from a language course I took awhile back, but there's a few other girls from that same course and we're all FB friends and I feel like if I invite her I should extend the invite to everyone. Am I crazy for feeling this way? We're not all that close to begin with.

Why I'm really hesitant is because of another girl I kind of don't want anything to do with. LSS, she's drama and I've distanced myself from her - but she lives in my (tiny) town and if I don't invite her, it'll be a total snub on my part IF I invite anyone else.

All of this is petty and silly, I know. But I'd still want to see your votes!
