@Mrs Hedgehog: dang, that's what I thought. :( I had a good sized dinner last night but haven't touched food since. I did try gatorade but that came back up. I have another call into my doctor, and am tempted to have someone knock me over the head until baby gets here :p

@Bookworm: If you are already puking again then no, it isnt working. I started on 4 MG and midway through they had to up it to 8 mg because it just wasn't working the same. I am, luckily, back down to 4. I will say, if I don't get enough water or food I will be sick no matter what. I don't know what you are eating but keep crackers, cream of wheat and other SUPER bland starchy foods with you. They help get your body to just chill and keep SOMETHING down. You also want to drink Gatorade if it is that bad. You are losing alot of electrolytes and need them.

Oh, and popcicles!!! I lived off the things for weeks! It gave me my fluid intake but slowly and manageable and it felt like I was eating more which was super nice. I even made Gatorade pops because I just didn't want all the sugar and needed the electrolytes. Those were SOOOO yummy!

The one thing I will say about Zofran, is that during the short time the tab was dissolving on my tongue, I was in hell. I hated the taste, and literally felt like I was sucking chalk. But man, did I feel better once it kicked in.

@Bookworm: My little lady is in a similar state. You'd think I would feel some small signs of labor coming on, but I just feel like she's getting comfy...and fatter.

I feel you. I have had morning sickness my entire pregnancy and have been on Zofran since 11 weeks. It has been my lifesaver! At 30 weeks today, I still NEED it. To the point that I literally cannot leave the house unless I know I have it with me.

I am more tired because of it and certainly more thirsty but I will take that over puking to feeling like I need to puke any day! Sorry you have to deal with this. It sucks! But Zofran is my "magic pill" and I am quick to suggest it to other nauseous pregnant women. I am in love with the stuff!

I was on Zofran my entire first trimester, and somewhat into the second. It was truly a miracle worker, even though it made me incredibly constipated.

I've had zero nausea in the second half of my pregnancy, which has been wonderful after the first, traumatic 18 weeks. At nearly 38 weeks, I've been experiencing lots of pelvic and hip pain, and popping. I'm just about ready for this kiddo to GTFO. In the most lovingly way, possible. ;)

So the pregnancy gods decided not to give me a whole lot of morning sickness in the first trimester, which was great! I took B6 every day, and only puked I think once or twice.

Apparently the pregnancy gods were saving it for my third. Last Friday I had a terrible 24-hr bout of puking. I had to take off work and couldn't keep anything down. I attributed it to eating too much the night before for my bday, and shook it off.

TODAY, however, I gave in to the Zofran. Last night our a/c was acting up and it was murderously hot. I have no idea if that's what set it off, but starting at 1am this morning I had my own little Exorcist play going on. Couldn't keep down water, couldn't lay down, etc. It is the worst I have felt all pregnancy, hands down. Every time I threw up poor LO would squirm like crazy :(( It must have been so uncomfortable for her!

I called the Dr. on call at my practice, and he prescribed Zofran, since after 6 hours I was starting to get very dehydrated, and he was worried I'd set off labor at 36w. My wonderful sister went to pick it up at 10 (DH had a meeting) and I haven't puked since! I was able to get an hour of sleep!! GLORIOUS SLEEP!!

Seriously y'all, I was not expecting to be this vomity during the third trimester.....but I'm so glad that there is something out there to make it stop!!

Anybody else have some seriously wackadoodle symptoms the last few weeks?!
