Every one of them guessed too big. I had to have two growth scans in third tri to "make sure the baby wasnt too big to deliver vaginally". </p> <p>I went to the ultrasounds because I wanted to see the baby and make sure there were no complications but there is no way i would have consented to a c section for that reason. They estimated approx 9lb. The Dr. thought she would be 7-7.5 pounds at the most and said she was a petite baby, not a small baby...whatever that means? They measured her head and abdomen, but not length since she was too smushed up. She's probably long like me (5'11")! </p> <p>I know the estimates aren't super accurate, but I couldn't find any statistical data on it. </p>
