@HLK208: OMG this is my life. B gets sooo frustrated with me sometimes and I feel like I have to talk him off a cliff. He gets frustrated by something little and then it gets blown out of proportion. I'm trying @sandy's approach and it appears to be helping.

DD- spitting up, fussiness, sleep could always be better but she's only 11 weeks.

@googly-eyes: holy crap. O just started screeching too. she does it when she's super, super excited so it's more funny than annoying (so far!!) but man. it makes me dread the teeny-bopper concerts in another 12 years...

@HLK208: how old is she again? I remember my nanny LO doing that..man, it was so hard. I think we opted to walk away (within sight) and let her get her anger/frustration out until she stopped screaming. unless she was hurting herself, then she went in her crib :/

E and I are going through a rough patch. Yesterday morning, she had a melt down that lasted an hour and a half. Just screaming "no", crying, hitting...but she can't communicate when she's upset or why so I have NO clue what to do. If I hold her, she gets more upset, if I ignore it, she stays upset for longer. It feels like she is unhappy the majority of the time lately and it kills me! I just want her to be happy.

@Mrs. Pen: that is exactly why we switched from a gym class to music class...it just wasn't fun spending the whole time chasing LO and telling him "no" and trying to get him to do things he didn't want to do! music is less structured which works better for us.

For us, it's early morning wakeups...he's been up at or before 6am for the last week and a half. Ugh.

Exhaustion. I just feel so spent these days. My son is amazing but between him, trying to keep a house together and working this part time nanny gig with two under two I am beat! And I jut can't catch up. Not unless I neglect my husband completely and that won't work either. We have a date night coming up and I feel bad but sometimes I wish I could just rest instead!

Feeding! My toddler is the world's pickiest eater and NOTHING seems to be working to try and change it. Monitoring her food intake is seriously ageing me :-(

@Running Elley: {hugs}. Right there with you. I hate when I lose my patience with one of the kids but my patience seems to evaporate quicker than water in the Sahara nowadays! Two under two is no joke, that's for sure! :-)

We are in a toddlers sports class and he does the exact opposite of what he is told. It was supposed to be a fun class to introduce him to sports but it has become so stressful because I end up chasing him around the gym the whole time trying to get him to follow the coach's directions.

Honestly, just keeping up. C just turned 2 a month ago and she has so much energy that it makes me tired just to watch her. I've been under so much stress first with DH leaving the military and then our overseas move back to the states, and now with dealing with the renovations on our house and facing going back to college and DH finding a job that will get us by for the next year.... I just don't have it in me, and I feel bad.

I have to say, I think we're really lucky generally. Yes, she throws tantrums and fights naps, but I feel like it's nothing more than typical toddler stuff and I'd say she's really a pretty well-behaved kid.

Not comparing her development to others. She is 8 months and not even close to crawling and doesn't even army crawl. She barely pulls herself to sitting. I know other babies who are younger than her and doing more or her she and walking! Now, I know it isn't normal for an 8 month old to walk but still.... Ugh...

We are 2 years 3 months. I think the biggest challenge now is the terrible two creeping in. He refused to nap at times at daycare, and all hell breaks lose when he got home. Say today, he cried and wanted to be held (even when I was by myself and I had to cook and wash dishes). Everything is a no: eating dinner, washing hands before/after dinner, sitting on the potty, taking a bath, getting out of the bath, taking meds, going to bed. I mean even when our car stopped in the middle of a traffic jam he was also not cool with it (mommy no stop!!). He repeatedly requested for "doggie videos" and if I don't give it to him he would cry hysterically. Gawd.

Other than that he has always been an angel since he turned 1. If he would just nap.

She's got separation issues right now. Like bad. And what is making it even more difficult is that she's chosen DH as the one she has to have. She's always been with him more once I went back to work but I can't say it doesn't suck to be rejected by my 13month old.
She will only let him do bed time right now. Which is a pain cause we have always taken turns. Literally since the first night home with her we have alternated bed time duties daily. It's been wonderful, but she's for sure throwing a wrench in things currently.
