Get a friend who you know takes good photos to be the photographer at the party. But one thing I wish I had done but didn't do at the time - take photos of the room / setup / cakes etc. before people arrive. My headings include:</p> <p>item<br /> description (color/ package info etc)<br /> source (websites, brand)<br /> Quantity/ need<br /> price<br /> total price<br /> Completed (purchased)</p> <p>Even if I source the same item at several places I put it all down on my spreadsheet.
