My oldest has had his for 2 years and wears it for hours a day. Sounds totally silly, but we live in NYC and he is on his scooter or bike ALL DAY. It's still in great shape. Both kids have them and there are pads inside to adjust for fit and remove as they grow. The brand is Nutcase, tons of cool designs. I was shocked at how reasonably priced their helmets were compared to the character helmets. I was expecting them to be significantly more. We got a Giro for DD.
