While I knew a lot of the info, we learned some different breathing and relaxation techniques and more about our hospital's policies on different things. And DH learned a LOT. Like the other posters have mentioned, I felt confident going into the classes, but DH wasn't as informed. When I thought about not doing them, it occurred to me that I have done a lot more reading than he has, and I have HB (thanks, guys!), and that he really had no clue what he's getting into. I felt very empowered and educated when we finished. I agree with @ktdid23 it was a super fun way to bond with DH over my pregnancy and our upcoming delivery too. We giggled through class like teenagers and had an ice cream date after every class. What was it like? Was it worth it? We have quite a few choices - from a one-session general class to an in-depth 6-week course on labor and delivery, newborn care, and breastfeeding. I'm just wondering if anyone has taken something similar. Thanks! </p>
