Hospital staff are often VERY hostile toward homebirthers.</p> <p>So the big things I would include (if I were homebirthing in my city) would be bold letters at the top, before any of my preferences, that said "I understand it can be an inconvenience to recieve a such late transfer into your care. I have had complete prenatal care beginning at # weeks gestation and have had an uncomplicated pregnancy. My sonogram and laboratory records are attached." I included it in my hospital birth plan.
