My kids sleep well in the car so in that situation, I might just leave extra early so that they fall asleep on the way, sleep a bit, then party.</p> <p>We went to a 4 year olds party recently that was from 2-6pm and a majority of the napping toddlers came late (like an hour late). My DS's party is in 2 weeks, scheduled for 2:00pm. Most of his friends probably don't take naps, but my daughter is going to have to skip hers to go to the party. It always ends up a disaster. Maybe around 2:30 or so. Tell the host ahead of time though. We would like to take her but it starts at 2pm. She usually naps from 1-4 on the weekends. How would you make this work? All I can see are meltdowns no matter the choice. </p>
