We spent around $200 for LO's bday party last weekend. We had 24 adults and 12 children, some were from daycare (4 of them.)
We had a rental fee for the park shelter ($85), $50 for 8 pizzas (2 were left over) and $15 for cupcakes from Sams, and we did some animal crackers and cheese puffs. We did some candy for favors and I made the pinata.
It was an easy party and LO really enjoyed herself.

I voted $100-$300, at home, <10 kids. My daughter is turning 3 this year and it will be the first party we've hosted with friends. At this age, and on a weekend, I expect each kid will bring both parents and possibly a sibling (who won't need crafts/food)...if we make it in this range, it'll be the very upper end, but I'm optimistic since we're just doing bagels, fruit pouches, and cupcakes, which I'll make.

My vote was more than $300, at home, with 20+ kids.

We haven't actually invited daycare kids yet but that wouldn't factor in cost. We spend way too much on birthday parties - probably closer to $500+ when you factor in food, cake, bounce house, etc. We invite the whole family and have it at our house. Just cousins are 13 kids so adding so daycare kids wouldn't change the cost too much. DH likes to have real food not just apps so that factors into our cost too.

I voted more than $300, at home and less than 10 kids – we have a lot of adults that come to LO’s birthday parties, and usually around 10 kids (including some friends from daycare). Our totals are near to $300, but definitely probably over each year. I am also “that mom” that goes overboard on parties, and I own that, so it is what it is! (I don’t spend over $500 though, even to me that’s insane)
I can’t remember the breakdowns of her 1st or 2nd party, but for her upcoming 3rd so far I’ve spent, or plan to spend:

$20 invitations
$20 favors
$150 decorations and “stuff” (candy for candy buffet, themed plates/napkins/cups/etc., decorations)
$60 for wine/beer
$150 food

I don't like to spend more than $400 including the cake.
Our place is so tiny and we couldn't have it at home even if we wanted to just have the grandparents and my very closest friends.

ETA: he was born in December in New England, so outdoors isn't going to work for us either.

So I voted at home and more than $300 but less than 10 kids. It was about 25 people including adults and cousins and a few daycare friends. We probably spent less than $50 on decorations, $20 on favors, $15 on a piñata, $100 on food (BBQ - but my MIL made cake and cookies and one appetizer and my mom made fruit salad), and $150 on adult beverages (yep, the party is more for us than for him).

We didnt have daycare kids come just some friend's kids. We did it at a park that had a carousel for her 1st birthday and I spent maybe about 200 with food, drinks, favors and carousel ride tickets. We had about 30 people come to the party.

This last birthday it was pushing $300, ugh! But that was because we had a large guest list - we kept the first birthday very small and our grandparents, cousins, etc., wanted to come to this one. So we had about 25 people. It was at home, but even so, feeding 25 people, having different drink choices, cake, minimal decorations, invitations....it definitely still adds up!

I voted $100-$300, at home and less than 10 kids.
I should have voted under $100 because I included our birthday present for our daughter in that cost.... We are doing a backyard cookout and have our kiddie pools up in the backyard. It should be about $60 for food and drinks and $15 total for favors.

I like being in control and don't want an experience like a friend had where we felt rushed to get everything into our time slot.

How much do you spend on your LO's birthday party when the party includes "friends" from daycare? (multi vote enabled!)

And if you'd be so kind, where do you host the party?
