These are all great suggestions, thank you!! Pasta salad and quiche sound yummy and my son lives for chicken strips/nuggets . I forgot to mention that my husband eats extremely healthy so ill probably make a salad or something for him

I always do some veggies and easy dips, some olives ,chips, breadsticks and cheese cubes.
Also quiche/pizza cut in squares.
I like trying to have some healthy options for the kids!

My SIL makes a crazy good bow tie pasta salad. It has different color peppers, fresh mozzarella and some other stuff. I think she even makes the vinaigrette. I'd make the centerpiece of your meal a flavorful, filling cold pasta salad- add meat (kielbasa or pepperoni or chicken). Then pick up a fruit tray, freezer pin wheel appetizers that can thaw during the drive and set out some ruffled chips and herb dip.

My son's 2nd birthday party is Sunday
I've been so busy I have not planned food at all
It is at a location about half hour from my house so I'm thinking of food that doesn't have to stay hot and is easy to transport.
Its in the afternoon and there will be entertainment so I'm thinking just snacks /finger food instead of full on meal
I need some inspiration and ideas!!
Thanks!
