Definitely pizza. I always serve dinner for a 3pm start. If you don't then the kids are Leaving thisclose to dinner time on a sugar high and hungry. No Bueno

Sounds great!! I would get the pizza, just to err on the side of having more than enough food than hungry guests. Maybe you could double cut it so they're not big slices but more like appetizer size?

Favor ideas: glow sticks, bubbles, mini playdoh, stickers, fruit snacks/shredz, $1 book, $1 mylar balloon

I would order pizza for the kids and parents. My kids are always hungry.. Especially after running around and playing.
For favors.. Target sells party sized playdoh, bubbles, stickers, cheddar/gummy bunnies, books. :)

@misolee: Sounds great! I would vote for pizza since it might be hard for parents to feed dinner after cake.

For favors, maybe books or little playdoh containers? LO went to a party where the favor was the book "Arthur's birthday" and she loved it even though it is targeted for older kids.

Sounds fun  For favors: board book & noisemakers for all! Food wise, I think you're fine since the kids will primarily play during your rental time.

LO is turning 3 next week and was going to just celebrate with a dinner out (tired pregnant me) but she's been singing about her birthday since like July. Also, this will be her last bday as an only child so I did want to do something special for her.

Hence, last minute planning. I reserved a kids cafe type place for two hours on a Sunday from 3-5pm. We invited 6 of her friends (all 3 yrs old). The kids play in the play area for 80 minutes and the last 40 minutes or so we get the party room.

I'm thinking of having cake, fruit tray, and a cracker tray. Originally, I was going to order pizza but it's kind of early for dinner at 4pm. Should I just order it?

Thankfully, no need for decorations but I was going to do a small banner. Also some sort of favors for the kids. Any ideas that's not plastic?

Thanks in advance!
