<description>&#60;p&#62;I would do a little something, doesn't have to be big. You can even do it at a restaurant or order pizzas and pick up some dollar store decorations.  I don't think its about the actual party, its about being able to celebrate the milestone with your lo.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I was hoping someone could help with our birthday planning situation.  My SO's family lives 3 hours away, and my family is here.  Neither side of the family is really into the idea of traveling such a long way for the party, and some of our family members aren't able to given all the activities their children are involved in.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We normally end up doing seperate parties in the two locations ... thats what we did for my baby shower actually.  We were planning on having the big party with my SO' family several hours away, but now our friends/family here are upset,  I wonder if I should go ahead and just plan a small get-together here?  It's only a month away now though, so not much time for planning left.
