Thankfully (well, mostly thanks to the doctors and lots of help from my mom) I was feeling better by then. My mom took the day off work and hung out with me and did most of the work taking care of L. When DH got home from work we had cake with L and my parents, and then they took L overnight so we could have a date night. My choice, of course, so we ended up going to Mongolian Barbecue for dinner and then going to see Divergent. DH was on a Thursday and he got home super late. So the next night I had steaks, sauteed spinach and baked potatoes for dinner. Even made him his favorite cake. I was pretty upset he didn't even do anything special for me. Since my actual bday was work and then eating by myself after R was asleep.
