My work stress is at an all time high - I push back and people are pushing me harder and harder. As if I don't have enough trouble sleeping with this peanut inside me kicking, now I can't sleep even more because of the stress. I really just wish people would fuck off and understand I can't just let things go because I care about my job.

This is kind of random, but I had terrible leg cramps in both of my pregnancies and one tip I read that hadn't heard of before was to put your foot on a cool surface, like a bathroom tile. It releases the cramp instantly for me every time.

Seconding the pregnancy support belt. I got one near the end of my second pregnancy. Baby J sat very low throughout the pregnancy and made walking tough near the end.

My vent is that my maternity leave ends on Sunday. I go back to work on Monday. I'm so not ready for it. I loved our summer together. I'm sad to see it end.

I was at my RE's office this morning and the nurse dug around the side of my arm with a needle purportedly in attempt to find a vein. She apparently couldn't find one so she went to the other arm. Ugh. I nearly died.

@lovehoneybee: I had terrible sciatica flare-ups at 19 weeks and again at 34 weeks, making it impossible to walk/sit/sleep or do anything comfortably. What really helped was seeing a bodywork specialist (I didn't know this profession existed but my mom sees one to help manage chronic pain). Getting massages at my chiropractor's office also helped A LOT - much better than a regular spa massage since they focused just on that area. Hope you feel better!

@lovehoneybee.... I'm so sorry you are in so much pain! I agree that you should get a massage!

My complaints.... In a vague & confusing explanation, I had a group meeting last night with someone who was hired instead of my DH for a position they both applied for and had to listen to how they are doing things and get all irritated all over again about the situation...Mainly because the reasons they were chosen over my DH are turning out to be ridiculous and making me wonder if there was more to the story. On top of which, today is just a rainy, dreary day and I've got a major time crunch on something at work and DH's usually flexible job has sent him out on site so he won't be home in time for me to be at an event at my work on time. It all is compounding into turning me into a hormonal mess of a pregnant lady who is just a little stressed out today.

I'm flying from TX to NY today and the following have gone wrong:
I couldn't carry two car seats, a suitcase, two carry ons, a 21 month old, 3 year old and my 24 week belly to the terminal (luckily someone helped)
I lost my son in security. We're talking screaming his name, couldn't see him, complete panic attack. When I did see him, completely lost it, which made him cry.
Then our carry ons had to be hand searched, while my three year old is crying.
Our second flight has been delayed by two hours and even though we should almost be at our final destination right now, I'm still trying to entertain both boys in the airport...
Oh and I got four hours of sleep last night.

I keep telling myself that it could be worse, at least I'm not stuck some place due to weather!

@lovehoneybee: the sciatic nerve stuff just sucks so much. I second the recommendation for a maternity support belt and the chiropractor, and also that it will just get better when the baby shifts again. But it just sucks a lot while it's happening. Ugh.

I'm feeling ok, but my building management is really pissing me off. We have two garage doors, and each tenant's opener corresponds to the side of the garage their spot is located in. Our side keeps breaking, so I have to pull up to the other side, park the car halfway on the sidewalk, sprint inside the building through to the garage so I can open it from the inside, jump back in the car so I can drive in before the door shuts again. With a 2 year old in a car seat. This has happened at least 4 times this summer, with it taking a couple of days to fix each time. Which means I leave my two year old alone in the car half on the street out of my sight for about 30 seconds, which freaks me out a lot, but I literally could not possibly get her back in the car seat before the door would auto shut again, so it's that or park with her on my lap. So yeah, that's my bitch for the day.

I'm sorry! I vividly remember (and I think I even posted about) how uncomfortably I was around 25-26 weeks and I wasn't sure how I'd ever make in another week. Then LO moved up a little again and I was honestly fine through 41 weeks! I hope you feel better soon.

I feel a little badly complaining because I know over all we are really lucky to be financially secure(ish) and healthy(ish)... but since you asked. I'm sort of having a pity party this week. I feel like I/we've had a rough year. I lost my job last year at 41 weeks pregnant and the timing seemed ok so I just didn't really look for another job until the start of this year. And it is not going well and I'm really stressed about my unemployability/lack of money. Add to that a really sad/slow death to cancer for my grandmother who finally passed in June, and that has been really hard on me. Then my dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer last month (thank God they were able to cut it out and he should be fine but it is still a really scary thing). My husband lost out on a promotion he really wanted in May and has been sort of down since. My parents are trying to move to our city to be near us and lost out on a house they really wanted yesterday. My eye randomly started hurting and got really puffy this week and I had to go into the eye doc and turns out I have a blocked oil gland (not serious just annoying and a bit fussy to treat). And I've been stress eating through all of this and have gained 10 lbs this summer. My husband applied for another job he REALLY wants and we are supposed to hear "by today" (ughhh its 2pm wtf tell us already) so I am really on pins and needles about this. I feel like we've had a string of not great things lately and we really need a win for family morale, but that is putting so much pressure on whether or not he gets it! fingers crossed.

I know your probably like hell no I can't walk but exercise really improves circulation and improves your mood & you don't want to lose your mobility especially since you have a ways to go still. What about a water Aerobics class that will take away a lot of pressure & get you moving without any weight ?
Anyways, I hope you get to feeling better!!!

As for me, this is non-pregnancy related, but I've been in hell at work. Our server failed over the weekend, so we've lost everything (emails, work, etc.) from Thursday to Monday. Tuesday was spent just trying to catch up and I'm still trying to play catch-up now. I don't even know everything that's missing. It's just a major headache that everyone is feeling.

I had a DAY on Monday. I spent most of it in tears because I was just so miserable. I had a migraine, was exhausted because I was up with D for 2 hours, had to do all the chores that went undone all weekend because of being busy with other things, and Hubs was hungover and in a snit (and not helping AT ALL despite knowing I had a migraine). During one of D's whiny moments, I just went upstairs, shut the bedroom door, and sobbed for 20 minutes.
