@Mrs. Pen: I will try that, although I really don't want to envision her doing this again. I'm a little traumatized by the blood.

ughhhh that hurts!!! DS never actually drew blood so I didn't have that problem.

however if she keeps doing it, a flick in the cheek worked on my DS! Each time he bit me I flicked his cheek, he would cry for a couple seconds but latch back on and be fine. Eventually he stopped doing it as he associated biting with pain.

I jinxed myself. I responded to a post about teeth and breastfeeding and said that since my LO's top two teeth came in she hasn't bitten me. Well, she bit me really hard this morning, broke the skin, and my poor breast was a bloody mess.

I am pumping at work and anytime I pump it causes the bites to start bleeding again--the bite is on the edge, not where the milk comes out but the flange rubs against it.

Has anyone dealt with this before? How can this heal if I continue to pump? Any tips for speeding up the healing process? I don't want to feed her from this breast until it is healed. Although I think she's a vampire so she might like the blood :P
