They're definitely not see-through, and hold up reasonably well without any special care. I wear mine under dresses, to the gym, playing on the floor with my toddler and to sleep in and have never gotten a hole or snag. They aren't shiny, they aren't fuzzy, they just feel like peach skin and so soft and comfy. They come in a 2-pack and they are cheap (relatively speaking).</p> <p>They DO tear if you have like sharp long nails - like I have punched a hole in them with a long acrylic nail before. But if you put them on like you were putting on tights its not a problem.
