Our daycare did this and I freaked since LO was only 2 months when he started. I talked to daycare director about it and they took a blankets out of the cribs. I brought swaddleme blankets so they could swaddle in a snap.

I wouldn't trust that they would make sure it didn't go over the face. Our daycare doesn't allow blankets in the cribs but sleep sacks and swaddled are ok. Once they sleep on cots around a year they can have whatever the parents want.

@zippylef - that's what I was thinking, too young. But good to know you're doing it at 6 months... Maybe that's when we'll consider it.

I think it depends. C slept swaddled with nothing else until she was 6 months. After we stopped swaddling, she slept with one of her AA swaddle blankets. We did it so she would have that familiarity to help her fall asleep.

I think 3 months is kind of early though. :/

So, our childcare suggested we bring a blanket for LO to sleep with during naps. LO is only 3 months old. There are multiple other babies in LOs class that have blankets in their crib.
Isn't it bad to have blankets in the cribs until babies turn one? Is that the right age?
This was only our first full day. I didn't say anything, but I'm not planning on bringing a blanket. Should I bring a sleep sack for naps? At home I didn't put LO in anything...
