I had this after my initial meeting with this pregnancy. I was 9 weeks, and the doctor said she hit my cervix when she was working and I bled a bit for the next two days. At first it was red, then darkened, and in the end it was light pink. I think it's just the healing stages.

Whenever my OB does a pelvic exam or looks down there he says that there might be light spotting. I've never experienced it though.
The cervix is super sensitive and can get easily irritated (hence the spotting).
I had spotting throughout my pregnancy and it stressed me out too, but my baby was born late and healthy!

Has anyone experienced this? I'm 22 weeks, and I just had the pap done yesterday. He had to use silver nitrate paste to stop the bleeding before I left and did tell me to expect some spotting for the next couple of days. I've had some very light, dark spotting since then, but it's been increasing and has become more of a pinkish/red (not bright red) than it was. Has anyone else experienced this? I have spoke to the Dr on call, and she told me to monitor it and call if it's not better by morning. I'm sure it's probably nothing, but it's hard not to freak a little.
