this is my first pregnancy, but at 13 weeks my belly started feeling more firm and is pretty much the same size most of the day. larger at night, but not as big a difference as was early on. can't wait to really pop for real tho!

I remember that feeling! My belly looked totally different by evening... I think it was around 16-17 weeks when I finally felt like it was more of a bump than bloat, and I showed really early. I remember just wanting an actual bump so badly!

I don't know what's going on with me. I've always carried weight in my tummy area so I was pretty worried that I would show quickly. I'm 7 weeks and in the last few days I definitely have something. It is the same size at all times of day, feels harder when I stand and squishier when I sit, and definitely cannot be sucked in. I wore spanx to work yesterday and went to get a bella band after work. The problem with the bella band is that it doesn't really hide anything. Maybe it's just a lot more noticeable to me, but I'm really worried about staying incognito! Any suggestions??

I had insane bloat until about 12 weeks. I swear I looked pregnant. Then I woke up one morning around 12 weeks and had a flat stomach again. That lasted about 3 weeks, and at 16 weeks I had a definite bump. That bump "popped" at about 22 weeks.

I never experienced bloat, I don't even really know what that is. I just noticed at about 9 weeks that my tummy stuck out a little more than usual, and it went from there.

I def had more bloat with #2 and #3. But bumps didn't really *pop* til 16-18 weeks for me for my first two kids. With #3, I just recently popped at around 19-20 weeks. I've also gained much less weight at this point than the first two times. So busy with the kids, less time to give in to every craving...

Still feeling bloated and puffy and I'm almost 12 weeks! Hoping I pop soon. I also heard it sort of happens overnight.

For me a bump felt harder than bloat and couldn't be sucked in. I don't rely remember when it changed from bloat to bump but it seemed to happen overnight.

With this second pregnancy, the bloat got bigger fast too.

At 28 weeks I wake up in the morning with a much smaller bump than I went to bed with. I seem to deflate overnight lol.

Bloat is way more uncomfortable than bump lol.

In the first tri, how did you know it was bloat versus a bump? Was it different for your second (or more) pregnancies?

I'm in that stage where I feel normal in the morning and huge by bed so I'm assuming still bloat (8w4d).
