I'm still nursing 2x a day at 16 months. It's been fine and I've never noticed a drop in supply. I've held off since LO was born 7mo ago, due to some platelet issues I had. Now that I'm back to normal levels, I'm interested in donating again, but I am wondering if it would temporarily affect my breastmilk supply or the TTC process (in the FUTURE! :)) I imagine that a drop in blood volume would affect hormones....?</p> <p>Has anyone ever donated blood during nursing or TTC, and seen any affect? </p>
