We were having major problems breastfeeding and apparently this is a sign of dehydration. Yes, very weird, but apparently normal. Just make sure it's not a lot of bleeding and that it is coming from the vaginal area and not her rectum. You can always call an on call nurse and check with them. I remember our nurse at the pre natal class saying baby girls can have a period when they're born and it's normal, just Mum's hormones clearing out of her. Do you think this is what it is? Did it happen to your LO? How long did it last? </p>
