Like @pepper said the cervix gets VERY sensitive during pregnancy (you get more blood vessels &amp; they are closer to the surface) so it's very easy to cause spotting. That's why one of the questions asked when it happens is if you've dtd lately.</p> <p>Definitely try not to panic! See if stopping checking helps... I had 4 hours of light period-like bleeding right after I tested positive, and also a week of pale pink or brown CM around week 14, and everything's fine. I've mentioned it to a few friends who have had children, and I'm amazed how many of them have said "Oh yeah, I had that too." And if you look online you'll realize just how common it is and that it most often doesn't mean anything is wrong.</p> <p>Wait it out and try not to panic. FWIW, I bled and spotted throughout my entire pregnancy, and I'm awake nursing my 3 week old son! Blood doesn't always mean bad news, though it's definitely scary, I know that for certain. Hang in there! I hope it tapers off soon. Not bright red and not a ton, just in the CM if that makes sense. I had this about a week and a half ago and it went away. I'm so scared though :( I am not having cramping or anything else. </p> <p>I had my 3 hcg tests last Monday, Wednesday and Friday with scores of 1635, 4818 and 11094. Does anyone have some advice? I don't know what to do! </p>
