@GoGoSnoGirl: I feel the same way. Just needed another pair of eyes to see if anything looked outrageously abnormal. =)

@Mrs.Panda: Canada! Well that gives me some comfort knowing the ranges differ by area. Well, next is DH's SA. If that comes out normal, I'll go have my progesterone checked after O (Last few cycles I only Oed after CD 30 something).

Every lab will have their own values they go by. I think a more helpful test would be CD 23 (or whatever a couple of days after ovulation for you is) to see if you did ovulate, not the pre progesterone number. The lab values are slightly different than I'm used to, I'm guessing not in the States?

@stiletto_mom: seems a consult with an RE/fertility specialist could be wise. Just because the Dr ordered these tests doesn't mean he knows what they mean in the context of TTC, so much as general health. :goodluck:

@Shutterbug: Less than 0.3 though? The range on the sheet says 0.3 is post-menopausal and that follicular range is between 0.6 - 4.7.

If it's true, then a lot of my symptoms and my weird BBT chart would make sense.

@travellingbee: I don't think so. He didn't really look through the pages. But DH will do a sperm analysis soon and after that the doc may refer us to a fertility specialist.

0.3 is normal for pre-O, especially if you're not close to the CD you normally ovulate on. It spikes up to 10+ after O.

No clue... Is your doctor going to discuss with you?

Just got back from the doctors and discussed the results with him. He kind of skimmed over it so I asked for a copy of the results to mull over at home. Not sure how to interpret these things. Doctor said everything came back "normal" and the next step is for DH to get an SA done.

DH's blood and urine results are perfectly normal.

Me on the other hand, while the doctor didn't say anything, my results look like this
- high cholesterol
- low progesterone ( <0.3 on CD 12) so if I'm reading it right, it's putting me on the post-menopausal range?!
- the ultrasound said everything was normal except that "the left ovary was no well-seen, however, there were no adnexal masses on the left side".

Not sure if that meant she couldn't see/find the left ovary... and what that means for us and TTC.

Does the progesterone look like a big concern? CD 12 is in the follicular phase, but it does still seem low for that range...
