I didn't bleed after any of my others. But when she checked me 3 days before my due date and said I was all closed up and likely going past my due date, I was pretty discouraged. As I walked home, I kept feeling wetness, which was not uncommon, but I went to the bathroom and had brown-red flow (more than spotting). I kept an eye on it, and it lasted the next 2 days...my water then broke in the middle of the night and DD was born 10 hours later! I did on Thursday, and it was brown and kinda nasty. This was not very exciting, if I'm honest-a little mucousy, a little bloody, red/pink. I was 4 and a half cm this afternoon, so she told me to be on alert!</p> <p>I think I've been fairly unimpressed by the mucuous plug, to be honest, because my cervix is inside out and weeps like that constantly when I'm not pregnant. That bleeding was very, ummm, boring? The show was chunky, mucusy and gross! The excitement from it outweighed the gross!
