@coacheswife123: haha, J and Xander should hang out! They can scratch each other's faces and drool all over each other! I had to resort to putting mittens on Xander's hands at night because I felt like every morning, he'd have a new battle wound! He even scratched his EYE BALL once!!! THAT was a traumatic experience. You'd think he'd learn to stop clawing at his face after that, but nope! Still does it!

@Adira: gosh he sounds just like J. He WILL NOT quit scratching himself. I have felt every single fingernail and filed ever single edge and they aren't sharp at all and he still scratches himself. I hate it! He has been rubbing his eyes a lot and they get so red and his drool rash is driving me bananas!

Wait, really?? This could be associated with teething??? My LO is the same - very red and blotchy face, and seriously drool rash going on under the chin/on the neck. Plus he has dry skin on his forehead, so he's always scratching at his face. Babies!

Yup! Chloe's cheeks were always rosy red whenever shed start teething, and it would gradually disappear and her teeth popped through.

This is probably a combo of FTM worries and me being vain. Lately LO has been so blotchy in his face. He rubs his face and esp his eyes when tired and he gets SO red. He also has a drool rash that won't go away. He's always been prone to put his hands on his face but lately it seems like he gets blotchy so quickly. It almost looks like he's having a reaction but I know he's not ??? DH thinks its associated with his teething ? I'm blaming everything on teething these days ! Anyone have a LO who was generally more red when teething ? I want my baby's sweet pale skin back !
