We did finger foods at home and purees there. I never did rice cereal because it has almost no nutritional value and is all carbs. She'll need to start eating food during the day as she gets older. When DD was around 6 months I would send purees to school with her. After a few months I would send cut up food. She also loves making a mess! </p> <p>When you started BLW, did you just do feedings when you were around? What about daycare? Our daycare doesn't feel comfortable with BLW...I'm wondering if I should send rice cereal and purees so LO can have more than just breast milk while we are at work. </p>
