@brownie: good point. I think her refusal primarily comes with wanting to feed herself. If I let her stick her hand in the bowl of purée she'll happily eat it! I've been meaning to buy a reusable pouch so maybe I should get on that!

@regberadaisy: coconut yogurt was great for us.

Also, what about the pouches of purees. My son would scarf those down because he was in control of them. Happy Tots (or Plum Tots) has a coconut milk and puree one.

@Mrsbells: how does she do with the grapes? I'm afraid she'll try to swallow it whole and choke! Def have to try that at home before bringing to daycare.

@Sammyfab: she loves salmon! Last night was hilarious. She kept lunging at daddy and smacking him for more. If she doesn't like something her mouth is a steel trap!

No dairy yet bc I'm MSPI and no eggs bc my nephew is severely allergic so I'm waiting till she's 1.

A lot of these sound better warm? She loves bread with hummus so that's def something I can bring in.
We do pancakes/waffles etc on the weekend! :)

She hates bananas! Otherwise that would be such a good one! I should make muffins tonight with them. She might like it better that way. ;)

I'll have to ask daycare tomorrow if they're comfortable with this. I need to know they'll keep an eye on her....

I'm so impressed that she eats smoked salmon!

Is your LO eating dairy and eggs? I make pancakes with oats, banana, avocado or spinach, cottage cheese and eggs. You could also make pancakes with just eggs, banana and vanilla. Frittatas or mini egg muffins is another option!

My LO still loves purees but I do see what other kids are eating. they have chopped up bananas, and other fruit like grapes & blueberris. Also pieces of cheese, bread or waffles.

Does she refuse yogurt too?

M has been refusing purées lately. This poses a problem for bringing breakfast for daycare.
What do you bring to daycare for breakfast that LO can feed themselves?

It's not as much an issue at home bc we'll generally give her what we're eating. Her current fave? Smoke salmon, don't worry we made it ourselves so there's no curing agent and minimal salt.
