He does occasionally (like a handful of times since we started), but I get the sense that he just does well with food (usually). That being said, I was nervous for the first few weeks when we started. She stopped gagging on the majority of food within the last month. She gagged SO MUCH and threw up on whole food when we started BLW, that I switched to yogurt, which she ate fine. Then i bought a couple purees just to see, and she ate those fine. So we did purees for ~2 months, and are now on a mix of BLW and purees. She's still learning. It's been a lengthy process in our house. Or, when did it stop freaking you out? </p> <p>We only just started, so I know she is still in the early stages of learning how to eat, and it's just like the book says-- if she takes a big bite, she gags briefly and pushes it out of her mouth. But it still makes me nervous and I look forward to when it won't happen as often! </p>
