It could be a letdown speed issue with the left flowing faster, more like bottles.

Omg, I totally feel you on this! My DS hated my right boob when he became more aware. We had a period where he would cry just by me laying him on that side! Then it got slightly better when he would at least humor me, but it would only last about 2 minutes before he popped off. I've always offered that side first, and I've even tried to pull some fast ones on him by having him lay on his favorite side and offering him the right boob, or letting him have a taste of the left before switching him to the right. He caught on pretty quickly though. Soooo......in the end, I made the decision to essentially "let the right boob die"......so now I completely rely on my left one. Yes, I do get lopsided from time to time, but I guess it's okay since I'm a SAHM? At least the fighting has stopped. I gave in when DS was 9.5 months old!

My son likes my right more. I think because it produces more so the flow is faster. I offer him the left and, if he doesn't take it, let him eat on the right. Also, I sneak in the left one during his night feedings, because he's so sleepy & it doesn't bother him as much then.

I don't have advice but you have my sympathy. LO decided she was a right boob only girl a few weeks ago. My left has an inverted nipple so she has a reason.

You can try always offering the non- favorite first to even out. That worked for me for a while.

I'm dealing with a bad case of boob favoritism over here. The left is definitely his favorite and I'm having increasing trouble getting him to nurse on the right. I've been back at work for a little over a month now so it's not a problem except nights and weekends. What gives ?!?! Maybe something to do with the increase in bottle feeding ?
