I loved it, DH loved it, I recommend it to everyone and have heard nothing but great things. It is about a young woman from teens through adulthood on the frontier in Arizona. I still embarrassed myself laughing on the T a few times (but I cannot read about the giant metal chicken without laughing out loud, no matter how many times i read it). I just finished The Secret Keeper, which was really good. I'm 80% of my way through How to Talk to a Widower which is already really good, but kind of sad, so maybe not a great vacation read. sslm on "Book recommendations! The latter was not the best but an easy read. I recently read "The birth house" by ami mackay and that was really good, I highly recommend it!!! Bao on "Book recommendations! It started out as a self-published Kindle book but it's come out in paperback, and I was really surprised by how much I liked it! Also, Gail Carriger writes some excellent fantasy/steampunk/romance novels, both adult and YA. I don't really know how to classify them, but they are really cute and funny. Since I'm on a babymoon in DR, I've been catching up on some reading. I read Ghana Must Go, by Taiye Salasi yesterday. The writing isn't as good as Ghana Must Go, but it'd been out for a while and I'd been meaning to read it, and I still recommend it. It was good.....not my favorite, but still enjoyable. And still a recommend.
