Men Explain Things to Me by Rebecca Solnit was one of my favorites of 2017.

I’m currently reading My Beautiful Friend by Elena Ferrante and Strange Beauty by eliza Factor which is a amazing memoir about parenting over all and raising a child with disabilities

Good me Bad me was very chilling.
Invisible by James Patterson was also very scary.
My Husbands wife, The Handmaiden Tale and Behind Closed Doors were other favorites.

Currently working on Girl Last Seen and I’m not a fan. But I just listen to audiobooks while I’m editing photos so as long as I can follow it I’ll stick to it.

2017 Faves:
The Sun Is Also a Star - Nicola Yoon
Leave Me - Gayle Forman
Sea of Tranquility - Katja Millay
Clara and Mr. Tiffany - Susan Vreeland
Diplomat's Daughter - Karin Tanabe
Hate U Give - Angie Thomas (this should really be required reading, tbh)

For 2018, I'm going to do the Read Harder challenge from Book Riot again, so I'm looking at reading Peony by Pearl Buck, re-reading Wrinkle in Time, reading Charlotte's Web for the first time, and figuring out good reads for all the other categories. I just started This is How It Always Is, so glad to see it getting some love.

Side note: folks who love book recs, I highly advise checking out the What Should I Read Next podcast from Anne Bogel (Modern Mrs. Darcy). I've gotten a ton of great recommendations from that podcast.

Between Breaths (non-fiction, Elizabeth Vargas)

There's more but I'll have to do a round 2 later instead of toggling between Goodreads and HB on my phone!

ETA: I listened to Night Road by Kristin Hannah on audio book...it was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was the audio in particular or what, but it was impactful.
