I can't ever get my hands on the library copy long enough to finish because I read slowly because of how much I work. But I had read maybe a third before I needed to return it to the library. I liked what I had read so far and I'm really into World War II novels. </p> <p>But yes this happens to me and I feel badly lol but I have found myself more readily abandoning novels if they're not drawing me in. I recently stopped reading "Pretty Girls". I was actually really into at first! The storyline is gripping and sucks you in... but then it became so graphic. Like if you rated this book, it'd be rated R, or worse. It was fine the first or second time because it was relevant to the story... but it kept going on and I just couldn't handle it anymore. Go back to it in a week or two? What if it's a book you bought not one you borrowed?</p> <p>I'm reading a book that everyone has raved about and it's ok, but I find myself checking to see how many pages I have left so I can be done. I just halfway so I feel I need to just suck it up and finish it, but I'm bored! </p>
