@regberadaisy: I didn't find it hard to clean. Though my LO was a messy chair eater. Most of his mess was on the floor, rather than the chair.

@regberadaisy: my son is a really neat eater, so I never have to clean a lot of the chair. But it's small enough that it would fit in the kitchen sink for a good old fashioned scrub.

@looch: @BoogieBea: how's the cleaning? My cousin in law had that one and she said it's a pain to clean? they're lots of crevices that food get stuck in.

I put DD in a booster around 2 years old, when I needed the highchair for DS. She used the FisherPrice Booster. DS is 13 months now, and we just bought both kids the Ikea Junior Chair. It's like a booster chair that puts little kids at the same height as the table. I love it! Plus DS has done just fine outside of the highchair, although I do have to remind him to wait for me to help him down.

DS1 was about 12 months and DS2 about 9 months. We have a Fisher Price seat we use daily and a Safety 1st we don't use because DS1 doesn't use a booster anymore.

Haha, i am a booster-a-holic, because my son hates them all.

We have two at the moment, one that you attach to the chair, another one that you put on the bottom of the chair to raise it.

Fisher Price Healthy Care and the Kaboost.

I was just talking to my mom about this yesterday. We figure we have another 9 or so months before #2 will be using a high chair(she'll be about 6 months old then), so DS will be 21 months, so we'll probably just put him in a booster than. I can't imagine him in a booster now, mainly because he doesn't sit still! M seems much more content sitting though, so she'd probably do ok

We have a high chair now but my son started in the popular fisher price booster at 6 months. We've taken it to restaurants as well. Very convenient. Both kids sit in regular chairs now though.

LO is 21 months (and a big girl) and she's still in a high chair. I'd feel ok with her in a booster if I had to switch.... she even sits in a little kid chair for breakfast and snack now with no problems.

We currently use a bebepod for feedings in lieu of a high chair. But she is starting to outgrow it.

When did you start using a booster seat? Which one do you have?

M is 12.5 months!
