My son rolled over at 6 months, yeah, really late! So his head got pretty flat and I started getting concerned about it. His pediatrician started monitoring but, thankfully, it eventually rounded. He doesn't have a beautiful round head but at least it's not flat like before though. I did have to use Boppy's noggin head and started before he rolled over. They say not to use it in their bed but since he wasn't rolling over I used it during the daytime when he slept. Also used JJ Cole's car seat one in his car seat as well. I think it works but you just have to make sure to only use it with supervision if they are rolling over already b/c of the risk of suffocation from the puffy part of the pillow. You can also use it on a swing or bouncer as well or even on a play mat.

I just bought this yesterday! I hope it works. I saw that zulily was selling the lifenest mattress but it's on the expensive side, so this is my solution. (I did get a positive review from a blogging mom who tried it) Zoey isn't exactly flat headed, but I'd like to do what I can to prevent this from happening. No matter how much I try to change her head position, she always ends up on her back. I was wondering what other moms did!

I was gifted one at my shower but we haven't used it yet. LO sleeps with her head on its side and she doesn't really favor a certain side, so I didn't need it. I think this is a good product if you LO likes to sleep with head on center. I originally thought I would use it with my car seat but the Britax Chaperone has a built in head support. I also read somewhere that you shouldn't use any accessories on car seats if the go between baby and the seat back.

I had something similar, never used it. My son was a side sleeper, even when swaddled, so he did get a little bit of flatness on one side, but at 15 months now it's rounded itself out.

I never got one. I used to sleep my LO on her side. She has a really pretty shaped head. :)

Anybody have any experience with the bopp noggin head support? Two other mothers recommended it to help fight flat head in newborns. It was the first time I heard of the Boppy noggin. Is it worth getting?
