I can BF without it on the go, but I'm much happier with it! I found mine at a consignment shop for $14 and they had boppys as well. I use it daily...my LO was pretty much constantly nursing, and he was heavy from the get-go. My arms would get tired from holding him otherwise. I find that I use the boppy a lot more now that DS is older (5.5mos) and is sitting on the floor. I found the MBF pillow to be much easier to use while BF and I still use it most of the time when I'm home. </p>
