It's SUPER soft. Softer than their regular covers for sure. It's definitely worth the extra money. As for getting it dirty, I haven't had a problem with it since it's more of a darker creamy color. We pretty much tried everything short of cutting it out! And then today I decided to email Boppy and someone got back to me right away and is going to send me a replacement AND it's already ready for UPS to be picked up. All of this within a couple of hours. I am impressed and super happy with their customer service. Super fast and didn't think they would replace it. Okay, maybe secretly I did, but I really didn't know what else they could do? I have two so that when one is in the wash I can still use the other. </p> <p>Anyway, thought I'd share my experience if anyone has the same problem with their Boppy zippers. :) </p>
