we used the boppy for bf'ing when LO was born (he was 6 lb 14 oz) and i used to have to prop a blanket up under my elbow because he was so little! he quickly outgrew that...like within a week and i use the boppy soooo much now. i am sitting here bf'ing him and have my laptop propped up on it as a matter of fact.

My LO still uses his newborn lounger at 7 months--he takes his bottle in it =) Sometimes he will use it as a toy and crawl all over it.

I have all three. The newborn napped is great for when LO is really little and the boppy is better to prop them up when they are bigger.

I think the Boppy is all you need, because it's multi-purpose.

i have the lounger and the boppy. i didn't use the lounger much, though i know a lot of moms loved it. i don't think it's a must have but some moms like having a place to put your lo down.

the general sentiment seems to be that the boppy is better for breastfeeding an older baby while the mbf is better for infants so if you plan to use it for breastfeeding too, then it might be a worthwhile investment. i love my boppy but i only use it for breastfeeding.

My LO isn't here yet so I can't give practical advice. But we did opt to get both a my breast friend and a boppy. I've been told by lots of moms that it's useful to have them both.

I plan on getting a My Brest Friend Twins Plus Deluxe Nursing Pillow but was curious about the Boppy Pillow or Boppy Newborn Lounger to just place the babies on to hang out/tummy time. Has anyone used either the Boppy or Newborn Lounger just for that reason alone? Is it worth it to get it or should I just put them on an activity mat or blanket?
