Sounds like borrowing is totally normal and the way to go. We also managed to get the mattress to sit flush so I feel better about it, and called the company and they said no need to replace the mattress. We just washed all the fabric and wiped down the mattress (which had a plastic-like cover). My guess is it’s like 5 years old. It was in her garage for a few months and then she gave it to me. We washed the fabric liner and sheets but I’m feeling weird about it now. The mattress seems lumpy and I feel like I’m going to be nervous using it. So my questions, I guess, are:</p> <p>-Would you use a used bassinet?<br /> -Do you know how the mattress is supposed to sit in the Arms Reach, specifically? It feels like it has a bump/air bubble in the middle, maybe from the folds?</p> <p>Thank you!!!! </p>
