I wish I had some tips to offer. Going though this painful phase (I hope this is a phase!!!!) now and it's rough.

LO (3 years old) is a very sweet child but has always been very strong-willed and specific about what he likes. The past few weeks, he is exerting a lot of his control and independence and we feel like we're being held captive by his bossiness. We mostly ignore and try to redirect but there's only so many times we can redirect before a tantrum ensues. It's exhausting.

My 3 year old has been so bossy lately. I always tell her it is not her job to tell other people what to do and only worry about herself.

No tips. We call LO bosslady or CEO. It's a daily struggle of constant reminders and modeling behavior but the boss chip is strong. It's probably a developmental stage.

LO is 3.5 and is going through this phase where she is being bossy/demanding. I tell her it is not ok to do this but she still does it. I don't give into her when she is acting this way but it's a daily occurrence, and it's getting frustrating. I don't know if it's a normal 3 year old phase or what....anyone go through this? Tips on how to deal?
